I am an Associate Professor in the Department of English at the University of Louisiana, Lafayette. I mainly work on twentieth-century British literature. I have written articles on Olaf Stapledon, John Cowper Powys, John le Carré, James Joyce, and Wyndham Lewis. I also am interested in film and television and have published essays on the work of David Lynch, David Milch, and Shane Carruth.

Saturday, January 8, 2011. A funny thing happend this week. I saw something flying around a young Elephant Ears. It looked like a pink wisp. 65279; I was wrong. It was a Ghoulish Wisp, a level 2 pest. Bummer, I thought it looked friendly. I had to run to the nearest mole to learn a new spell to get rid of it. Oh yeah, I also made it to GrandMaster Gardener. The reasons for why this is so beneficial for ASU students are numerous.
